Adjust Hue/Saturation/Value
Shift colors and adjust color intensity
Adjust Hue/Saturation/Value
Shift colors and adjust color intensity
Overview
The Adjust HSV node modifies colors in the HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) color space. Shift hue to change colors entirely, adjust saturation to make colors more or less vivid, and modify value for brightness changes.
Usage Tips
- Hue: -180 to +180 degrees shifts all colors around the color wheel
- Saturation: Negative values desaturate (toward grayscale), positive intensify
- Value: Similar to brightness but works differently on different colors
- Use saturation -1 for full grayscale conversion
Common Pairings
- Adjust BCG - Combine for complete color/exposure control
- Import from URL - Color-correct imported photos
- Merge - Match color tones between layers
Gotchas
- Hue shift affects all colors equally - no selective color changes
- Desaturated images lose hue information permanently
- Extreme saturation can cause color banding
